Description: Flos lonicerae japonicae extract is a light greenish yellow to tawny powdery product extracted from the dried flower buds or newly blooming flowers of Caprifoliaceae lonicera japonica.

Characters: It is light greenish yellow to tawny powder in appearance, without impurities visible to naked eyes, and with a peculiar taste and odor.

Active ingredient: chlorogenic acid

Testing method: It is in accordance with the method of testing chlorogenic acid in flos lonicerae japonicae in the Volume I of Pharmacopoeia of the People’s Republic of China. Refer to enterprise standard Q/XATM 027-2018.
