Description: Sclareolide is synthesized from sclareol, with a faint fragrance of cypress, and is used as perfume fixative.

Application

1. It is mainly used in synthesizing ambroxide, and is less used in preparing essence.

2. It is used as a flavoring agent for tobacco.

3. It can improve the sense of food, so it has been widely used as a food additive in food industry.
