Appearance: yellow powder, and its dihydrate is yellow acicular crystal; melting point: 313~314ºC; solubility: soluble in hot ethanol (1:23) and cold ethanol (1:300), soluble in methanol, ethyl acetate, glacial acetic acid, pyridine, etc., insoluble in petroleum ether, benzene, ether and chloroform, almost insoluble in water.
